The MiniVLS Tachometer is an Android App intended for use with the MiniVLS313/214 USB Laser Speed Sensor. Designed and manufactured by Compact Instruments Ltd, this device is the first pocket tachometer capable of measuring rpm using Smart Phone, Tablet or Windows PC via USB.
The MiniVLS Tachometer App linked to a MiniVLS313/214 can measure, monitor and save rpm data on Android Devices.
Maximum, minimum and average speeds are displayed in real time.
Various time-sampling periods and unit types can be set. There is also a wheel diameter setting - required when measuring linear speed.
Android devices must support USB On-The-Go.
