About Mixer

Mixer calculates the amount of alcoholic spirit to be used in a mixed drink.

Mixer primarily calculates the amount of alcoholic spirit to be used in a mixed drink for a given alcohol percentage.

IE: How much Rum do you need to put into a 200ml glass for a Rum&Cola with 5% alcohol content?

Conversely you can calculate the resultant % alcohol if you use a given amount of rum.

Initially you can enter the total volume of the mixed drink, the required final alcohol % and the alcohol % of the spirit used. The volume of spirit required is shown on the “Result” bar.

To enter these figures, tap on the digit display of the item, a keyboard is displayed.

To find another parameter IE final alcohol %, drag the “Mixed Drink Alcohol % label down to the “Result” bar. Enter the given parameters and the result is displayed. Calculation of the other parameters is achieved in the same way.

ALTERNATIVE METHOD: Take any receptacle, pour in a good measure of Bundaberg Rum and top up with cola.
