Get Data Usage & Background Activity Information For Any App!!

FEATURES

With MobilAware you can selectively monitor application activity. If you are fully comfortable with an application you may choose not to monitor it. Conversely, if you download a new application from an unknown source you can find out what it's doing in the background before deciding whether to keep it. For each application selected for monitoring MobilAware will provide the following:

DATA USAGE

+ Details on the total amount of data sent by the application

+ Details on the total amount of data received by the application

+ A data sent log with associated details

BACKGROUND ACTIVITY

+ Data on what resources the application has been given permission to access

+ Data on what services are associated with the application

+ Dynamic specifics on what services are running

+ An ability to turn on or off notifications detailing when services begin running in the background

+ An ability to force stop any background process that is running

MobilAware BASIC: You can monitor up to 5 different apps.

MobilAware PREMIUM: You can monitor an unlimited amount of apps and delete any selected apps once you are satisfied with the information.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Use the App Tab to select the apps you would like to monitor. Once the apps have been selected you can go to any of the remaining tabs at any point to collect the information you would like. Below are two examples of questions that can be answered using your MobilAware app.

- How much information is my app sending?

To determine how much information an app on your Android device is sending/receiving please perform the following steps:

1. Open the app and go to the App Tab

2. Make sure the app your want to collect information on is selected in the App Tab

3. Go to the Monitor Tab and view the total data sent and total data received

*** GET ADDITIONAL DETAILS ON DATA SENT: In the monitor tab click on the app and view data sent details

- How can I activate notifications around apps that run in the background without my knowledge knowledge?

To activate notifications around apps that run in the background without your knowledge please perform the following steps:

1. Open the app and go to the App Tab

2. Make sure the app your want to collect information on is selected in the App Tab

3. Go to the Services Tab to view what services are running and turn on notifications to receive alerts when services start running without your knowledge

***ADDITIONAL FEATURES: For services shown to be running you can force stop the service by simply clicking on the service
