Mobill

Wrocław as part of the smart city idea defined 8 development areas and as the first city in Poland installed about 1000 beacons in MPK buses and trams. The Mobill application will automatically recognize the mode of transport and propose to buy the right ticket. If the vehicle can not be recognized, the application will allow manual selection from the pool of the full MPK ticket offer.

Additional features of the application include a travel planner with public and car transport as well as cultural information of the city of Wrocław.

The authors of the application after many tests and collected opinions of users, are in the process of introducing further functionalities: attaching URBANCARD city cards, adding payment for parking, integrating bicycle paths in the travel planner and adding a loyalty system.
