This app is developed for our research project Mon Majhi (in English, it closely relates with Mind Navigator) (https://sites.google.com/view/sabbir-eub/projects/mon-majhi). Through this app, (with your consent) we will collect data about you (not your name, email etc., but data like your age, education), your mental health (based on scales ([1, 2])) ,and your smartphone usage behavior. However, we will not give you any advice related to your mental health or others. Moreover, we will not collect any data without your consent.

After agreeing with our consent form (in the app), this app will collect the following data:

Information About Your Smartphone

1. Manufacturer name (e.g., Samsung).

2. Model number (e.g., SM-G570Y).

3. API level (e.g., 26).

4. Android version (e.g., 8.0.0).

5. Media Access Control (MAC) address or Android ID or International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number (depending on the availability). We will store the encrypted MAC address or Android ID or IMEI number of your smartphone. This means we will never see the actual one. First, the app will try to get the MAC address. If it fails, then, the Android ID. In the end, it will try to access the IMEI number, if you permit. But, if you want, instead of giving access to the IMEI number, you may choose the option of setting an alphanumerical value (as a User ID for yourself) having at least 5 characters. The encrypted address or number or the ID will be used for keeping records of repeated data donation (if you donate data in the future also) and also to ensure that you have the scope to delete your data (If you want to delete your data in the future).

6. The time zone (e.g., Bangladesh Standard Time, Asia/Dhaka) where your phone is running.

Subjective Data

In addition to the demographic characteristics (e.g. age, education, CGPA) and some other data (e.g. sleep), we will collect response about your mental health, based on well-established scales (e.g., PHQ-9[1]).

App Usage Data

We will collect your app usage data of past 1 year. In addition, we will collect the time required to retrieve your app usage data. Please, check our privacy policy (https://sites.google.com/view/sabbir-eub/projects/mon-majhi/privacy-policy) to understand explicitly which type of data, we are going to collect. In addition, in the consent form which is available in the app, you will get the details about the app usage data which we will collect.
