With a life time of experience in the security industry, Monitor Net established its business platform in 1994 and commenced trade in the beginning of 1995. Our business at that time was solely defined as a 24-7 monitoring centre that monitored safety and security products, hence the name “Monitor Net”.

Though still in the early years of Monitor Net, we started leaving evident impressions in the market with our strive for “service excellence” and combining true added value to this industry.

As a company that started with a limited start-up budget without any local or foreign investment capital or shares (and still up-to-date), we achieved to be the biggest South African company that provides alarm, monitoring and response services in our region. Monitor Net achieved such status with a growth that is reflected in client referrals instead of huge marketing campaigns, and no wonder that our annual budget for marketing is 20 (twenty) times less than our budget to uphold and improve our high standards. In any business, such extreme principals won’t make sense, but facing such a high risk environment in our crime stricken country, we can not afford to compromise the safety of our clients or our staff.
