Effective layering of DBT along the Ultra-poor families has been a key focus of Government of Uttar Pradesh that announced a pilot for an envelope of 5 lakh families (ref. Govt. Order dated April 25’ 2023). ICT-led procedural work processes is a key conceptual element to attain the objectives of the reform initiative. This mobile app (Mop-up Urban) aims to expand the ultra-poverty ~ DBT pilot in two urban locations _ Ayodhya and Mubarakpur _ with approx. 1,500 women-headed Ultra-poor families. Objective of the pilot assignment is, besides unified servicing through DBT benefits, facilitate institutionalized financing and allied livelihood measures for the 1,500 families, demonstrate outcomes by March 2025.
