Morvillo Per Il Sociale

Our Association was born in 2001 from the will of many Rotarians who, interpreting the essence of the word "SERVICE": in Italian, "SERVICE" put themselves at the SERVICE of the community in which they live and work.

To date, our Association has activated and continues various projects thanks to many Rotarians and volunteers.

The request is to be able to access, through a specific tender, the assignment of a Confiscated Property.

To be in line with the "Routing the Disadvantaged" project, the property should have sufficient space for accommodation and above all have relevant land useful for cultivation.

Our the desire is to create a small community within which certain homeless individuals can cultivate citrus groves and/or olive groves, thus hypothesizing a re-integration into society with the proceeds of the harvests.

The need for the land, in addition obviously to the essential purpose expressed above, could allow us to accommodate any animals that often move with the disadvantaged.

Dormitories or municipal facilities do not accept people with animals and this possibility could be welcomed for the purposes of integrating disadvantaged people into society.

Experience teaches us that it is necessary to get in touch with the interested local associations present in the area to achieve positive results.

Therefore, it is our express desire to find help through one or more associations in order to manage the property as best as possible.
