Mpuma Kapa TV is a community television broadcasting station which was launched 1 October 2011. The channel has just rebranded, positioning itself as an Eastern Cape broadcasting network, as incorporated in its name Mpuma Kapa TV (Eastern Cape TV). The channel formerly known as Bay TV, has over 1.5 million viewers and aims to grow these figures with the new brand position.

Mpuma Kapa TV is a DSTV channel on 260 with special focus on the Eastern Cape community, promoting local content, a window for the Eastern Cape. The channel takes pride in its promotion of local talent and being an engine of grooming industry ready professionals from the Eastern Cape.
