MSC Network Wallet

MS Coin's wallet infrastructure was developed as an alternative to traditional browser extensions (like MetaMask), as the developers consider web wallets to pose a structural security risk. The system is based on four core security pillars and operating system specifications: 1. Core Architecture & Key Management: Zero-trace security: The wallet never stores the private key or seed phrase on the device's permanent storage media (SSD/HDD). According to the system, no local data vaults are created. True self-custody: As a peer-to-peer (P2P) system, the user retains complete and sole control over their crypto assets without the involvement of third parties or central servers. 2. RAM protection (RAM wipe): Auto-RAM wipe: To prevent key theft in the event of physical theft or background access, the app features an automatic wipe mechanism. After exactly 3 minutes of inactivity, the app automatically clears the allocated RAM and completely removes all sensitive key data from memory. Protection against RAM scraping: The developers explicitly point out that malware on infected operating systems can read the RAM ("RAM scraping hazard"). The app's native isolation is intended to minimize this attack risk, but requires a clean base system. 3. Available App Versions & Formats: The wallet is provided cross-platform for two main systems: Windows Desktop: Delivered as a native application package in a .ZIP archive (contains the executable .EXE file for Windows). Android Mobile: Directly downloadable as an .APK file for manual installation (sideloading). Note on store status: A regular version for the Google Play Store is not yet available. 4. Phishing Protection Rule: To prevent the theft of assets through malicious fake software ("phishing clones"), the strict system rule is to download the MSC Coin software exclusively directly from the official project website. The developers officially emphasize that the system will never ask the user for their private seed or key.
