Murmur: Offline Meeting Notes

Murmur turns a meeting into notes you can actually use — a transcript, the action items, and a reminder before each one is due. All of it is created on your phone.

Your audio never leaves the device. Not "encrypted in transit", not "we don't sell your data" — the recording and the transcript physically stay in this app's private storage. No account, no sign-up, no server to trust.

That is the difference for the meetings you cannot put into a cloud transcription service: client conversations, HR discussions, anything under an NDA, anything you would never hand to a third party.

🎙️ RECORD THE MEETING, GET THE MINUTES

Record in the room — no bot to invite, no calendar to connect, no connection at all. Seconds after you stop, you have the full transcript. Tap any line to jump the audio to that exact moment.

✅ ACTION ITEMS, FOUND FOR YOU

Murmur reads the transcript for what people committed to — "I'll send the deck by Friday" — and turns it into a checklist. When a deadline was spoken, it sets the due date and reminds you on the day. Automatic action items are English for now; you can add, edit and date any item yourself in every language.

📌 KEY POINTS

An instant summary of a long meeting, pulled from what was actually said. Nothing is invented — every line is lifted word for word from your own recording.

🔎 SEARCH EVERYTHING YOU'VE SAID

Every transcript is indexed on your device. Search a phrase and jump straight to the moment you said it, in any meeting you have ever recorded.

📤 SEND THE NOTES ANYWHERE

Export as TXT, Markdown or SRT subtitles. Share the transcript or the audio itself to email, chat, or your notes app.

✈️ WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL

Basements, planes, factories, site visits, clinics — anywhere the signal dies and cloud transcription apps simply stop. Murmur never needed the connection in the first place.

🌍 99 LANGUAGES

Voice to text in English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Urdu, Hindi, Arabic and 90+ more — all offline, all on your phone.

🔒 PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE

• No account, no sign-up, no cloud.

• Recordings and transcripts stay in the app's private storage.

• The only time Murmur uses the internet: downloading your speech model, once.

FREE, AND PRO IF YOU WANT IT

Record as much as you like, free forever — free includes 10 minutes of transcription a day. Pro removes the limit: weekly, monthly, or pay once and own it forever. No per-seat pricing and no metered minutes, because the transcription runs on your phone and costs nothing to serve.

Also works as an offline voice to text app, a lecture recorder, an interview transcriber, a dictation tool, and a private voice-memo notebook.

Please record responsibly and follow the law where you are — in many places everyone in a conversation must know it is being recorded.
