Madrassa An-Noor for the Blind is pleased to announce the Islamic android app for visually impaired muslims around the globe. Madrassa An-Noor for the Blind is a specialist Islamic institute catering for the Visually Impaired. Our Mission is to spread the light of Islam to the Blind around the world.

The app provides easy and accessible access to the following features

* Qiblah Direction with Voice commands

* Complete Quraan with audio recitation

* Noor-Ul-Quraan Braille Primer (Qaaida)

As part of our effort to spread the Light and Noor of Islam, we present to you a dedicated app for Audio Downloads. A person anywhere in the world is able to download our Audio Books FREE OF CHARGE. The Audiobooks available on the app and website is a treasure trove of many years of professional recordings done at Madrassa An-Noor for the Blind. All of our “Talking Books” were specifically created for the Blind and visually impaired to know and learn about Islam.

We have a wide variety of books available for download in the following categories:

Qur’an, Ahadith Traditions of Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H), Tauheed Beliefs, History Seerah, Fiqh Jurisprudence, Islamic Morals & Etiquette, Maktab Textbooks, Du’as Prayers, Anasheed Songs, Children's Stories.

We, at Madrassa An-Noor for the blind offer following courses

* Maktab

Primary level classes where reciting of the Holy Qur’ân & basic Islamic subjects on Belief, History, Morals & Jurisprudence are taught using Braille & audio materials.

* Hafiz ulQur’ân

A “Hafiz”is someone who has memorized the entire Qurán. It takes about 3 years to complete. The Braille Qur’ân is in six volumes.

* ImaamDawah

The Imaam leads the Salaah & guides the Muslim community in all their life developments & in the preaching of Islam. The period for this course is three years.

* QiratHafs – Sabha Ashara

The science of Tajweed detailing the recitation and narrations revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) are taught. The full course is completed over four years in conjunction with the Ulamacourse.

* Ulama

The Ulama are highly qualified Islamic scholars who study through Braille a varied field of sciences specializing in the Tafseer (Commentary) of the Holy Qur’ân & in the Sunnah (Traditions) of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H.) The Aalim course is completed over six years.
