Q: What does "MyArkit" mean?

A: A little play on words with “Noah” and the “Ark”.

Q: Why do I need a 10GB Life Account?

A: 10GB will store up to 5,000 images or 3 hours of video. That will store hours of storytelling and detailed memories to share with your family for generations to come.  Have someone in mind that 10GB might not cover?  You can purchase an additional 10GB for $39.99. See our Pricing page for more information.

Q: How do you safeguard data?

A: First it goes through the secure web host, then we use state of the art data storage services through AWS (Amazon Web Services).

Q: What if my memories are private and personal?

A: We incorporate permissions into each item to be archived so you control who and when items get viewed.

Q: Can I use this if I'm not tech savvy?

A: MyArkit’s website and mobile apps make it quite easy to add memories.  In addition, you can also contact us for specific questions.

Q: Will there be additional services on MyArkit?

A: Oh yes, we have big plans coming soon. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for the latest updates.

Q: What happens when someone dies?

A: Coming soon in Phase 2! When you buy a Lifetime Account, you set up a successor. When that person passes, their life account becomes a personal Memorial Site. The successor has control over the additional items to add. You will be able to sign condolences and leave prayers. All previous data is locked and cannot be erased. Permissions and last requests go into effect.

Q: Can we set up a group account for my high school class?

A: Yes, this is the plan for Phase 2. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for the latest updates.

Q: Can you get a Lifetime Account anonymously?

A: Yes, you are assigned an account number and are not required to fill out the bio page.

Q: What is MyArkit’s longevity?

A: MyArkit Inc is a C-Corporation, it will, in time, become publicly traded securing existence in perpetuity.
