Nóta is a modern, beautifully designed Nextcloud Notes client for Android. Built for people who take their privacy seriously and host their own data.

SYNC YOUR WAY

Nóta connects to your own Nextcloud server using the official Login Flow v2; secure, no passwords stored, just a simple browser-based approval. Your notes stay on your server, always in your control.

WRITE BEAUTIFULLY

A clean markdown editor with live preview lets you format your thoughts the way you want. Bold, italic, headings, checklists, dividers; all supported. Images can be shared directly into notes and are uploaded to your Nextcloud storage.

WORKS OFFLINE

Read and write notes even without an internet connection. Nóta stores everything locally and syncs automatically when you're back online. Changes made on other devices are pulled in on the next sync.

KEEP IT PRIVATE

Lock the entire app or individual notes with biometric authentication; fingerprint or face unlock. Protected notes show only the title in the list; the content stays hidden until you unlock.

STAY ORGANIZED

Group notes with categories, filter your list with a single tap, and search across all your notes instantly. The date format is clean and consistent throughout.

SHARE ANYTHING

See something worth saving? Share text or images directly to Nóta from any app on your phone. Images are automatically uploaded to a dedicated folder on your Nextcloud and embedded in your note.

ADD TO TASKS

Nóta integrates with Tasks.org; turn any note into a task with a single tap, right from the note list or inside the note itself.

DARK & LIGHT MODE

A carefully crafted dark mode with a deep navy glass aesthetic, and a clean light mode for daytime use. Switch instantly with a single tap; your preference is saved automatically.
