NAVSEG

Through the NAVSEG Application, the Captain of the Brazilian Vessel will be able to inform his travel plan (Departure Notice), which will make it possible to accompany him through the marinas, nautical clubs, Captaincies, Police Stations and Agencies (CDA). For this, the vessel's commander must enable the GPS location of his mobile device (smartphone or tablet) and authorize the transmission of this information to the Brazilian Navy, which can be done in the NAVSEG application itself. The vessel's position will be transmitted every 30 minutes, and the captain must sail close to the coast, enough for the device's signal to be within reach of the contracted telephone operator. The main purpose is the preservation of human life at sea, in case there is any problem with the vessels navigating inland navigation or on the Brazilian coast.
