NOBO RIDES

Nobo rides is an online car sharing or peer-to-peer car sharing service that allows drivers to rent cars from private car owners nearby, and owners to rent out their cars at a cost.

Its starts by registering an account and creating your profile by adding your details including number and copy of your driver’s license, identification number , phone number and take a selfie picture of the driver.. Once you get verified your account is activated and ready to use.

For drivers who want to rent a car will switch the account to ‘Book a Ride’ where the interface will display the cars near you after keying in the location. The cars display can be in Map view or list view.

After identifying the car you would like yon rent you can preview full details of the car and once you are satisfied you can press book button and confirm for notification to be sent to the car owner. Assuming the car owner approves you will receive a notification of the same and you can go ahead and pay the total amount from your mpesa account or e-wallet if it has funds. Once the payment is received the car owner will get a notification with the phone number of the driver but remember at this point the car owner cannot access the payment done.

A pick-up process is initiated whereby after the driver receives the car and confirm it will meet their need and ready to go the press pick up button and confirm at the same time the car owner will confirm after which the payment will move to the car owners e-wallet and ready for instant withdraw.

For car owners they will switch the account to ‘List a Ride’ and the interface will display their request received from drivers, my rides section which show the list of cars listed and the e-wallet account with all transactions done. Car owners will be able to add the car listing from my rides button from where they will add the specification of the car, the pictures and rental price.
