Capture PointCare visits for nVoq Voice app — less retyping, fewer errors.
nVoq EHR Sync helps home-health clinicians spend less time re-entering visit
information. It captures the visits shown on the PointCare visit list — usually
recent and overdue visits — and makes them available in nVoq Voice app for
documentation, without retyping and with fewer transcription errors.
How it works
- Open the visit list in PointCare and start a capture in nVoq EHR Sync.
- nVoq EHR Sync steps through the clinician's visits to read them and makes them available in nVoq Voice app. It reads only — it never enters or changes anything in PointCare. Every capture is started and controlled by the clinician.
Accessibility Service API Disclosure
nVoq EHR Sync uses the Android Accessibility Service API to read the visits shown on the PointCare screen, because PointCare — like many legacy field EHRs — lacks modern API integration.
The clinician starts each capture;
nVoq EHR Sync then steps through the visits, opening each one only to read it. It reads only and never enters or changes anything in PointCare.
The information read is patient-visit data (health information); These visits stay on the device. They're passed to nVoq Voice app, where users can record audio for each visit.
Clinicians sign in to PointCare themselves; nVoq EHR Sync does not access or store PointCare login credentials.
