The purpose of NxtVault is to safely and securely protect your Nxt passphrases from viruses, hackers, keyloggers while still allowing easy access to your accounts and creation of transactions.

The Nxt Vault was built on top of Jones' new "Jay Framework", a javascript library created to interface with the the nxt network using dynamically discovered public nodes, allowing for the creation of our first suite of Nxt thin clients that don't rely on a single developers centralized server!

Once you have entered your passphrase into NxtVault you will never need to type it again. Simply use NxtVault for all your signing needs and you will no longer need to risk copying and pasting your passphrases across machines or on insecure PC's.

You can use Jones' great Jay enabled NXT wallet located here: http://jnxt.org/nxt/ to access your account without requiring a passphrase. Then when you are ready to send a transaction, the wallet will pop up a QR code which can be scanned by NxtVault, signed & broadcast to the network.

Always remember to back up your passphrases since we are unable to recover lost passphrases in the event something goes wrong or that you lose your phone. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
