OcodX encryption

OcodX is a client-side encryption platform that processes all cryptographic operations exclusively within your browser. No unencrypted data is transmitted to any server.

ENCRYPTION ENGINE

• AES-256-GCM symmetric encryption with PBKDF2 key derivation (100,000 SHA-256 iterations)

• Built on the Web Crypto API — no third-party cryptographic libraries

• Optional time-limited keys that render ciphertext unrecoverable after expiration

• Keyless Mode applies Base64 obfuscation for low-sensitivity content

• Password strength evaluation powered by Have I Been Pwned breach database lookups

TEXT ENCRYPTION

• Encrypt and decrypt text messages using a shared password

• Output is a portable ciphertext string that can be copied and shared through any channel

• Five free daily operations; additional operations available via credits or subscription

• Works fully offline after installation

IMAGE ENCRYPTION

• Select or capture an image, encrypt it with a password, and receive a 6-character sharing code

• Recipients enter the code and password to decrypt and view the original image

• Encrypted images are stored with configurable expiration (1 hour to 7 days)

• Automatic cleanup removes expired data

EPHEMERAL ROOMS

• Create or join real-time encrypted chat rooms using a 6-character room code

• All message history is permanently deleted when the last participant leaves

• Room creators can lock rooms to prevent new participants from joining

• Creator moderation tools: remove participants and report users

• Rooms automatically expire after 24 hours

• Each participant is assigned a random color identifier — no usernames or personal data

CREDIT ECONOMY

• Earn credits by completing brain-training games:

— Memory Challenge: match pairs of cards across 7 difficulty levels

— Symbol Match: catch falling symbols matching a target set within 45 seconds

— Flash Number: memorize and reproduce number sequences of increasing length

• Credits fund premium operations: text encryption (2 credits), image encryption (5 credits), image decryption (3 credits), room creation (10 credits)

• Game progress resets daily, providing a renewable credit source

PRIVACY ARCHITECTURE

• Zero-knowledge design: the server never receives passwords, keys, or plaintext
