Odoo OCR

This is the first in a series of OCR related apps and functionalities for the Odoo suite of enterprise management applications made by Onestein.

With OCR it is possible to convert physical documents into digital versions.

This app focusses on the ERP user that processes paper supplier invoices on the go without the need to login to your computer. The app lets you take a photo and converts this into an invoice object that is saved in Odoo.

The app is self-learning so the more you use the app the better it gets at processing your invoices. You only have to specify the layout of an invoice for a specific supplier once. The next time the app will recognize the layout, select the supplier and extract the fields automatically.

To accommodate other ways of processing invoices and paper documents we are working on more functionalities to make your work easier.

· Use OCR directly from Odoo

· Extract data from PDF’s

· Process other types of documents like:

o Forms

o Business cards

o Contracts

o License plates

o And more…
