Ottawa’s premier Oktoberfest Celebration and Music Festival.

Oktoberfest Ottawa mixes the spirit of Oktoberfest with local Ottawa area flavour by combining great local beer brewed specifically for the festival, local food vendors offering delicious Germanic and Canadian fare and fantastic local musical entertainment.

Oktoberfest Ottawa has grown to be THE major fall festival in Eastern Ontario. Live local bands play throughout the event that features: a beer tapping ceremony “Masskrugstemmen” - lifting of a litre mug of beer in competition against other participants, a well-known and competitive Bavarian sport; a sausage eating contest; and a Family Day on Sunday with activities on the Oktoberfest Ottawa grounds for kids of all ages.

It all comes together over three days at the end of September and puts the ‘Oompah’ into the region’s annual Oktoberfest celebrations!
