OLED Screen Tester fills your screen with pure colours and patterns so you can diagnose display issues on any Android device in seconds.

HOW IT WORKS

Launch the app, pick a test scenario, and tap the screen to cycle through colours. The display automatically goes fullscreen and brightness jumps to maximum — so problems are impossible to miss. Tap the back gesture or the close button to exit; brightness resets automatically.

TEST SCENARIOS

• All Colours — sweeps through hundreds of hues

• Grayscale — 10-step gradient from black to white

• Black & White — pure #000000 and #FFFFFF only

• RGB Primary — full-screen red, green, blue

• CMY Secondary — cyan, magenta, yellow

• Dead Pixel Check — solid colours to reveal stuck or dead pixels

• Line Pattern — fine horizontal and vertical grid lines

• All Tests — runs every scenario in sequence

WHAT YOU CAN CHECK

• Dead or stuck pixels (a pixel that never changes colour)

• Screen burn-in or image retention (a ghost of a previous image)

• Colour accuracy and tint uniformity

• Backlight bleed on LCD panels

• Brightness uniformity across the display

PERMISSIONS

WRITE_SETTINGS — used only to set brightness to maximum during a test. Brightness is restored automatically when you exit.
