OneFarm

The mobile app OneFarm was designed to enhance the development of the African poultry sector by supporting smallholder farmers in defining and following-up an efficient prophylaxis program in their farm. The objective is to improve the performances of their flock and to limit the emergence of diseases in their farm.

To this end, the mobile app proposes a standard prophylaxis program with recommended dates for the administration of vaccines and nutritional supplements all along the production cycle of a flock.

Users are then free to adapt this program with their vet or technician to the specific context of their farm. Indeed, this flexible digital tool aims at facilitating collaboration between poultry farmers and animal health professionals.

In addition, the mobile app includes various technical datasheets providing information on the main avian pathologies and the ways to prevent their emergence in the farm. Some warnings may also appear if some changes can affect the quality of the program.

Finally, this mobile app combines a calendar functionality with a list of daily tasks, to support farmers in both planning their activities and knowing exactly what they must do during the day for each batch. Some recommendations will also regularly pop up, either giving standard pieces of advice on good management and biosecurity practices, or more customized propositions.
