Opacut. Background Remover

Photos and videos alike. Pick one, and the background you don't want is gone.

Opacut. makes the background of your photos and videos transparent, automatically. People, pets, products: keep only what matters, crisp and clean, and turn it into a sticker, a product shot or a layer for your next video.

■ The moment you pick it, the background disappears

Choose a photo and there's no button to press. The AI on your device finds the subject and removes the background. If several people or things are in the shot, tap to choose which to keep. Logos, signatures and stamps on white paper are cleared by their background color, right down to the gaps between letters.

■ Video backgrounds, removed automatically

Choose a video and watch the background vanish frame by frame, right in front of you. People, pets, objects. For a long video, just pick the part you want.

・Green screen MP4: drop it into any video editor and key out the background

・Animated sticker (GIF): transparent background, ready to paste into chats

■ Finish the details with your fingertip

Brush away what's left, or brush back what went missing. While you trace, a magnifier appears away from your finger, so your finger never hides the spot you're working on. Smooth jagged edges and clear leftover background color from the outline.

■ Stickers, or a whole new background

Add a white outline and a shadow, and it becomes a sticker of your own for chats and social media. Swap in any photo as the background, set the position and size with your fingers, and you get one picture that looks like it was taken somewhere else. No watermark on anything you save.

■ Your photos and videos never leave your phone

All background removal happens on your device. Nothing is uploaded to a server, so there's no waiting for transfers. No account, no sign-in.
