P.A.N.D.A. is a MobileHealth system, with an icon-based mobile application to perform pre and postnatal examinations according to World Health Organization guidelines.

Each visit consists of four steps

- collection of biographical data

- anamnesis in order to find out the woman's medical history;

- screening consists of taking measurements (height, weight, uterine height, blood pressure, temperature) and rapid tests (HIV, syphilis, malaria, glucose, haemoglobin) as well as specific questions about the woman's health condition (foetal movements, infections, fever)

- health education aims to educate women on prevention and how to behave during pregnancy, birth and postnatal care.

The system can also collect data off-line and synchronise as soon as a connection is available. Data is sent to to a server and can be viewed by the referring physicians via the P.A.N.D.A. Medical Unit desktop application, which allows them to check its validity and process the follow-up for each woman.
