Collection of Orthodox Chapels
We have a collection of Chapels, i.e. prayer canons, to the Most Holy Theotokos and other Saints of the Church, who lived in older or more recent times. Chapels are prayer rites that the Church performs throughout the church year, but especially during the Assumption fast. Although they are performed in a liturgical setting, they can also be used in the prayers of the private life of the faithful. Therefore, we encourage all believers to perform and pray, reading these chapels, because they bring great help to our lives. From an etymological point of view, the Greek term paraklis attributed to these ordinances is translated as: invocation, prayer, but also consolation, which highlights, in this situation, the helping, protecting and consoling role of the Mother of God in the lives of those who honor her and I bring a prayer offering.
