About Parkplatzfinder

This app helps you to find your car on big parking areas

In case of large parking areas (IKEA, ...) it is easy to not find the car.

This app allows to save the current position when the car was parked, and later load it.

Loading it calls Google Maps with the stored position and navigates to it.

Fuctions:

Storing and Loading parking position

History with last stored positions

Settings menue regarding gps-fix parameters

Widget with save/find option.

German and English

You can find a separate Tasker-Plugin for the app, which allows to trigger the position-saving or position-loading via tasker.

This version has been successfully tested on an Xperia V (Android 4.3) getestet.

I created this app to learn android-programming and to program something useful.

v1.02: Fixed wrong month in history (was too small by -1)
In case of problems while loading already saved locations, please delete the following file in your internal storage:
/.parkplatzfinder/lastlocs.ser
This is because the timestamp is now handled in a long-Variable and not a Date-Object. Hence loading a previously stored history-file might lead to problems.
