Who We Are

Pax News is a reflection of our faith. Pax means "peace". We desire to honor Jesus as the Prince of Peace and for the news that we provide to give Him glory and praise!

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God” (Matthew 5:9).

Peace was so important to Jesus that He included it in the Beatitudes. We have answered Jesus’ call to be peacemakers by providing news that unites. We aim to provide our brothers and sisters with the information and understanding they need to unite their wills to God’s, and in doing so stand united. By uniting our wills with God’s, we can work to achieve God’s vision for the world.

In addition to providing you with the biggest news stories, we also aim to illuminate smaller stories that other news providers have passed over, including heart-warming, interesting, or local news, or stories about what churches are doing in their communities.

Therefore, PAX News is more than a website or app, instead we see it as a collection of stories that reflect truth and news as a sacred mission for the good of all and we treat it as such.

What We Believe

We believe in the eternal triune God, who is the one living and true God, and that Jesus came down from heaven, was crucified, died, was buried, and rose again to forgive our sins. We believe we are called to continue Jesus’ work on earth by sharing the Word of God, and that the Holy Spirit calls on us to seek peace with one another.
