Pedalea por Nariño

The mobile application designed for people who want to stay informed of the different cycling events in southern Colombia.

The app will allow you to stay informed of the different cycling events scheduled in the department of Nariño and southern Colombia in their different modalities, both competitive and recreational, through an easy-to-consult digital calendar.

MAIN FUNCTIONALITIES:

CYCLE CALENDAR

It contains two recreational and competitive calendars, with all events scheduled annually. The user will be able to view a brief description and details of the event such as name, date to be held and other information related to it.

WEEKLY AGENDA

The application also has a list of events taking place in the coming weeks, including the current week.

PARKING CYCLE

Using a map, the different cycle parking spaces located in the City will be displayed with basic information such as location, address, cost, etc. For this, 2 types of parking have been defined:

- Public parking spaces: parking spaces generally located in parks and squares.

- Private parking spaces: these are those located in shopping centers and other establishments.

CYCLING COLLECTIVES AND CLUBS

Space dedicated to the different cycling groups and collectives in the region in order to publicize who they are, the outings they schedule and all the social work they do for the community as promoters of cycling.

PHOTOS

Publication of images and videos of the different events held.

ALLIES

Module aimed at recognizing the different initiatives, projects and campaigns that support cycling in the region.

CYCLIST'S MANUAL

Contains general information on mobility on the cyclist's path.

SAFE ROUTES

It informs the user about some routes that are part of the strategy to generate safer routes through the support of territorial entities to promote the use of bicycles in the city of Pasto.

NOTIFICATIONS AND SETTINGS.

The application has the notification option to keep the user informed about the latest cycling events on the calendar. With three types of notifications:

- Notification of new event created.

- Event modification notification.

- Event reminder notification.
