Put your phone’s camera to work with your Windows PC.

PhoneCam Mobile is the companion app for PhoneCam for Windows. Explore the setup guide, scan the QR code displayed by the PC app, and open its streaming page in your phone’s browser.

A WINDOWS PC IS REQUIRED

This mobile app does not stream video on its own. Install and run PhoneCam on your computer to use your phone as a camera source for a compatible desktop setup.

GET CONNECTED

• Swipe through a five-page introduction to PhoneCam.

• Scan the QR code shown by PhoneCam on your PC.

• Read a QR code from an image or enter the connection address manually.

• Review the address before opening it in your browser.

• Use the built-in connection tips and local support diagnostics.

WI-FI OR USB

Connect your phone and PC to the same trusted local network.

On Android, USB connection is also available after USB debugging and an ADB route have been configured on the PC. Connecting a cable alone does not complete the setup.

CAMERA AND AUDIO

The mobile app uses the camera only to scan QR codes. It does not request microphone access.

Camera streaming, microphone access, video quality and effects are managed on the streaming page opened in your browser. Available options depend on the desktop version, phone and browser. Actual resolution and frame rate depend on your hardware, lighting and connection.

For video calls or streaming, complete the desktop setup and select the configured camera or audio source in your calling or broadcasting app.

SECURE CONNECTIONS

Camera and microphone access over Wi-Fi requires HTTPS. The local PC certificate may trigger a browser warning. Check that the address belongs to your own computer before proceeding.

USB localhost addresses require a working ADB route.

PRIVACY AND ADVERTISING

QR codes and selected QR images are processed on your device. The companion does not record audio or video. Streaming is handled by the PC’s browser page.
