Phule SanMan

The Centre for Advanced Agricultural Science and Technology (CAAST) for Climate Smart Agriculture and Water Management (CSAWM) is sanctioned to MPKV, Rahuri by Education Division of Indian Council of Agricultural Research and National Agricultural Higher Education Programme. One of the objectives of the proposed centre is to develop an integrated system including RS/GIS and GPS tools and sensor-based technologies and mobile

applications and their applications for climate smart and precision agriculture and water management.

Phule – SANMAN is developed for collection of farm infrastructure available with farmers to access the need mechanization and present mechanization solution available in the market i.e. custom hiring, repairs and maintenance and suppliers of agricultural implements. Farmers will be benefited by suggestions for the mechanization solutions based on crop and operation, information of implements and machinery available in market at the minimum cost.
