This simple to use free app - no annoying adverts either - is ideal if you need to share a specific location with one or more of your contacts.

Key features inc.:.

a) The ability to use standard gestures to zoom in on the map

b) Tap and hold the pin to have it float under your finger to re-position the pointer to either correct for GPS inaccuracies or simply to better mark the ideal position.

c) Tap on the pin to view the geographical coordinates of the position selected along with the ability to then select a contact or group of contacts to send the location to along with the ability to send an accompanying brief message.

d) The app also allows you to enter a one-off number that does not exist in your contact list, if required.

e) The app will send an SMS message to your selected contact or contacts that includes the geographical coordinates of the pin, a link to the position on Google Maps (allowing you then to use the applications navigation features to then get turn-by-turn instructions to the location) and the brief message entered (if you decided to enter one).

f) Shaking the device then will reset the pin to your devices current GPS position.

This app uses a combination of the GPS feature of your compatible smartphone or other mobile device along with Wi-Fi to pin point your position. Depending on signal quality accuracy can vary. Furthermore, such technologies are typically heavy on your battery.
