Plastic Childhoods

The Plastic Childhoods app creates data about your use of plastics.

The Plastic Childhood apps lets you take photographs of any plastics you come across in your everyday life. You can also use the app to categorise the plastics you find. Are they part of food packaging? Do you come across plastics in the street? How are plastics part of your play or leisure activities?

'Plastic Childhoods' was created as part of an ESRC funded project (ES/K00932X/1). The code for this app was initially developed for the 'Map My Community' app funded by the ESRC (ES/K00932X/2) and developed by Dr. Sophie Hadfield-Hill at the University of Birmingham.
