Plettner-Data has since 1991 developed software in collaboration with institution leaders in kindergartens, extra-curricular clubs and boarding institutions from all over Denmark and Northern Germany. The system is used today by more than 3,000 institutions. Plettner-Data's main product is the Mercator Institution software that helps institutions with their admnistration and time planning.

MERCATOR XP Institution has in addition to work on a stand-alone computer or as a network solution, for example. municipal servers - a very high level of security, as follows requirements to meet the latest demands of the safety standards of personal data.

MERCATOR XP Institution contains more than 400 database records from which all information about children, staff, schools, board, doctors and more, can be used to produce automatically populated lists, schedules, journal control and activity control. Information can also be transferred to other text tools.

MERCATOR XP Institution has an image registers with direct images of all person-related records.

MERCATOR XP Institution has meeting time planning for kindergartens with one or more local authorities or publicly agreed årsnorms planning framework for the institutions and after-school programs.

MERCATOR XP Institution is constantly being developed, with new functionalities in accordance with the wishes of various institutions is added, all this is done by using latest software development technology.
