PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-Kisan Yojana) is a government scheme through which, all small and borderline growers will get up to Rs per time as minimal income support. This-crore scheme aims to cover 125 million growers, irrespective of the size of their landholding in India.

When did the PM-Kisan scheme come into effect?

The PM Kisan Yojana came into effect from December 1, 2018. It was launched by high minister Narendra Modi- led government.

PM Kisan Yojana explained

Under the PM Kisan Yojana, income support of Rs 6000 per annum is handed to all eligible planter families across the country in three equal inaugurations of Rs each every four months. The scheme defines family as hubby, woman and minor children. The fund of Rs is directly transferred to the bank accounts of the growers/ planter's family.

Who's eligible for PM Kisan scheme?

Landholding growers’ families with cultivable landholding in their names can apply under this scheme

Growers from both the civic and pastoral areas

Small and borderline growers families

Who isn't eligible for PM Kisan scheme?

Institutional lodgers

Present or sheltered officers and workers of state/ central government as well as PSUs and government independent bodies.

Heirs with advanced profitable status aren't eligible.

Those who pay income duty

Farmer families holding indigenous posts

Professionals like croakers, masterminds and attorneys
