The Heritage Portal application, organized by IPHAN-RJ, come to embody the two main actions: the dissemination and promotion of cultural heritage protected in every state of Rio de Janeiro and the search for participatory constitute a network between the federation, state and municipalities the identification and dissemination of collection of goods that represent the Brazilian heritage.

In this sense, any user will find not only the goods listed by IPHAN (and your suggested theme tour), representing the national heritage, but also state and local listed buildings, they all entered into this database in a participatory manner, by State managers and municipalities, bringing to the public the basic information on cultural goods that make up the National System of Cultural Heritage in the state of Rio de Janeiro.
