PTLApp

Hello,

This is the first release of PTLApp on the Google Play store! It is functionally complete (for now) but needs some work on the UI side. This app was created to unify the body of Christ worldwide. I would love it if you could share this to your friends, whether they are Christian or not. I believe that prayer is a powerful (and underused) tool and everyone can benefit from it!

How it works:

There are 5 main pages. One that displays your posts, one that displays posts you follow, one that prayers, one that displays praises, one you can use to post.

The prayers page displays a list of all prayers. It loads 10 prayers at a time and gives you the option to load more. If you click on an individual post, it expands it to see the full text (if needed) and displays the time it was posted, as well as the choice to follow, or if the post is yours, how many follows it has. You can filter through the posts by who posted it and the post content.

The praise, my posts, and my followed posts pages are pretty much the same as the prayers, just displaying praises, your posts, and your followed posts respectively.

The post page allows you to write your post. You can choose to post it as a prayer or a praise and there is also an option to post anonymously.

Follow:

You can follow and unfollow at any time.

You can follow any post that isn't yours.

Instead of the option to follow your own post, it will display how many people currently follow. This is only shown to you. The reasoning behind this is that I do not want this to become a popularity contest (likes on fb) and would rather only the person who posted it to know the impact of their post.

Delete:

You can delete any of your posts at any time if you wish.
