Quexter (beta)

Working with friends to prepare for the big Calculus exam or the Physics problem set is really helpful. Quexter makes it easy to learn with friends, all from the convenience of your own phone.

First, start or join a group of people with similar questions -- for example, classmates with the same exam, problem set, or review guide.

Once in a group, anybody can text a question ("quext") by simply taking a picture, and the whole group will see it. Then, anybody in the group can answer the question by simply drawing a video on their phone / tablet screen with their finger. Your group can appoint "experts" like a teacher, TA, or even an outside tutor who will then have the ability to create and "approve" good answers.

Facebook groups, in-person study sessions, and office hours are great. But sometimes they aren't convenient or available. Quexter is an app that combines the best of all of these, while letting you do it on your own schedule, in the palm of your hand.
