The Asasil Muridin book is actually the 27th chapter of the Qutul Qulub book written by Abu Talib Al-Makki Rahimahullah which is famous in the Islamic world, especially in the field of Ihsan or Tasawwuf.

It is my desire to translate the entire book of Qutul Qulub into Malay, but the current conditions seem to allow it yet.

So I took steps to translate it bit by bit without according to the order of the chapters. And this translation of the 27th Chapter is the first step. I named it the Book of Principles of the Disciples, while Qutul Qulub I also named Ruji Hati.

Hopefully later Allah will allow the translation of these bits and pieces to be complete as well as the whole.

I don't want to linger on this opportunity, because I want to leave you with the noble professor, Shaykh Abu Talib Al-Makki, to hear his points.

O Allah, make this charity sincere because of You. Receive it with Your grace.
