About QX1 Welcome Map - Marseille

QX1 Welcome Map is an information platform dedicated to newcomers arriving in a city:

- Find and contact structures dedicated to migrants in Marseille.

- Discover the experiences of newcomers to our city.

- Listen to presentations of places and testimonials from their users in several languages.

The project was launched in 2016 by the Collectif Transbordeur in the city of Marseille.

In addition to the app, the QX1 platform is made up of a multilingual website, hotlines in the city's reception areas, paper supports such as information brochures and large-format maps (paper Welcome Map ), displayed in the premises of partner structures.

Versions of QX1 Welcome Map are in progress in other cities (notably in Italy, Milan and Venice).

The Collectif Transbordeur encourages and supports collectives wishing to develop new local versions of this platform, by sharing our experience, methodology and IT tools.

La nouvelle version de l’appli est maintenant en ligne. Vous pouvez à présent :

- Recentrer la carte sur votre position (géolocalisation)
- Filtrer les récits selon la nationalité (origine de l’interviewé)

Nous avons également amélioré :

- la fluidité de la navigation et des interactions avec la carte.
- les fiches de présentation des Lieux (affichage de l'adresse et du descriptif court dans chaque fiche)
