R&D Impact

Qatar Foundation Research and Development (QF R&D) - a key pillar of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science, and Community Development, and custodian of the Qatar National Research Strategy (QNRS) - is leading the effort to make Qatar a global center for research and development excellence and innovation.

QF R&D is home to Qatar National Research Fund, a globally-renowned scientific research funding organization, and Qatar Science & Technology Park, a world-class hub for technology innovation and commercialization. It oversees the implementation of QNRS, with the aim of developing the capabilities of Qatar's people and institutions, building and maintaining a competitive and diversified economy, improving the health and well-being of Qatar's population, supporting the nationís culture and the security of its people, and preserving and improving Qatar's environment.

Through news, interviews, information, insights, and in-depth articles, R&D Impact showcases QF R&D's work to the national, regional, and global research community; illustrates its key role in nurturing a research culture in Qatar; and aims to inspire engagement with its mission of creating world-class research and innovation.
