RadarScope also includes color palettes and map layers that can make busy weather scenes easier to read. Users can adjust borders, highways, water bodies, and city labels to match the situation, then reduce clutter by toggling warning, watch, mPING, local storm, and Spotter Network report filters from layer settings. This flexibility helps during crowded severe weather outbreaks, where too many markers can hide the storm structure.
RadarScope supports radar products across the United States, Canada, Guam, Denmark, Finland, Germany, and selected warnings in Australia. Product availability can vary by region, so users outside major supported areas should check whether the needed radar layers are available before relying on the app for regular monitoring.
Optional Pro subscriptions add more specialized data. Pro Tier One includes lightning strikes, watches, SPC and WPC outlooks, local storm reports, and multi-pane display. Pro Tier Two adds NEXRAD archives, GOES satellite products, MRMS, RTMA, surface observations, soundings, hail and shear contours, and cross-platform sharing. Version 5.5 expands MRMS, GOES, and RTMA access for Pro Tier Two and AllisonHouse users, making the RadarScope latest version more useful for detailed storm analysis.
