Radio Alegría covers the entire Chiquimula area, much of Zacapa, the western border of Honduras, and also parts of Jutiapa and Jalapa. The municipalities and villages have developed with pagan ideas derived from Roman Catholicism and also animistic ideas which have been greatly reduced by the knowledge of the people in the message of the gospel.
