Habib Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Sheikh bin Abdullah bin Sheikh bin Abdullah Alaydrus bin AbuBakar As-Sakran was born in the city of Tarim, Hadramaut in 970 H. He grew up as a pious man with noble character thanks to his father's upbringing. His Datuk, Habib Sheikh who was living in India at that time, heard of his depth of knowledge and nobility, so in 986 H, Habib Sheikh asked his grandson to come to Ahmad Abad, India. In India, Habib Muhammad Alaydrus was educated again by his grandfather for two blessed years so that his knowledge expanded widely.
