The free app is brought to you by MSD. It provides essential information to help patients continue to manage their type 2 diabetes during Ramadan, including:

- Daily prayer and sunset times

- Qibla compass to locate prayer direction, based on the user's location

- A blood sugar tracker that allows patients to easily report their glucose levels to their healthcare provider

- Alarm settings for beginning and conclusions of the daily fast (suhr and Iftar)

- Questions to ask your healthcare provider in preparation for Ramadan
