Rangoli is an art form from India where patterns are made on the floor in the living room or yard using materials such as colored rice, dried flour, colored sand or flower petals. Usually made at other Diwali (Deepawali), Onam, Pongal and Indian festivals. The design is continued from one generation to the next, keeping the form of art and tradition alive.
