Tool to collect information on wildlife road network in Colombia.
The RECOSFA is created as a tool to gather information vertebrate mortality in the road network in Colombia. It is intended that this information provide criteria for the reduction and prevention of abuses of fauna. The information being sought includes most affected species, greater concentration of abuses (black dots) and the specific conditions of these within the Colombian roads. RECOSFA collect and process data of wildlife violations, received from various sources and under different methodologies. The information resulting from surveys and monitoring on the tracks made by organized, or the eventual report runover by particular groups. The network will provide methodological protocols, formats and tools necessary for the collection and analysis of information. The Network seeks to become a collaborative initiative where all researchers, organizations and concerned citizens are grouped together in joint efforts to aid the understanding and finding solutions to this problem
