This project was developed by students within the course "Programming applications for mobile devices" at the graduate study of Informatics, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Education in order to successfully complete the obligations towards the same course. The application itself is a product of students' creativity and is not an official application of the IT Center of the University of Mostar.

The purpose of the application is that a police officer can search people on the basis of JMBG, cars based on the number from the license plates via a smartphone with Android OS.

A police officer may also issue a fine to a person or car by completing a pair of attributes such as for the person: Personal number, amount and penalty description, and for the car: License plate number, amount, and penalty description with photo as evidence.

Based on the image, the car can be searched (number plate recognition relies on Google ML KIT Text Recognition)
