This article is a summary of the most important laws of the Tarawih prayer, summarizing the religious questions that are usually asked by the public regarding the Tarawih prayer and its laws. We have collected them from the ultimate religious fatwas from the Jordan Fatwa Department. These fatwas are taken from the laws of fiqah which have been compiled in the books of the Al-Shafi'i School in particular, and the books of the four schools of thought that are muktabar by the Expert Al-Sunnah wa Al-Jama'ah in general.

The month of Ramadan is a great season for preparing provisions with obedience; in him there is a double reward, and among the most important observances that are devoted to this glorious month: Tarawiḥ Prayer.

The words of al-tarawih: It is a double word for tarwihah, which means taking a break once, like the word taslimah rather than al-salam. This prayer is so named because the Companions used to rest themselves between every two greetings when they gathered to perform this prayer at first.
