RIO - 40C

A Wearable/Intelligent sensor for prolonged sun exposure, or as we named it RIO-40C, is

proposed as a sunburn prevention device. RIO-40C is a small, low-cost, wireless, multi-

sensor, IoT system that captures the individual UV exposure and warns the user of harmful

conditions. As part of RIO-40C system an android App handles all the data from the

sensors and presents meaningful information to the user.
